Chef Chris Morgan had never entered a cooking competition before diving into the inaugural season of “America’s Culinary Cup” on CBS. Morgan, the executive chef of the Persian and Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant Joon in Vienna, Virginia, became a finalist.
